Inferno vBShout Pro is the professional paid version of our Shoutbox product. There is also a free "Lite" edition which can be found here. Currently pro offers the following features categorised by version:

• Advanced Optimisation Protocol (AOP) System - Greatly reduce server load
• AJAX Keep-Alive System - Stops AJAX Locks In IE
• Detach Shoutbox - Make the shoutbox pop up in its own window!
• Disable Admin Command Notices Option - Stop admin command notices being posted
• Archive Link On Mainbar Option - Option to have a seperate archive link on the shoutbox

• The design has slightly altered, making the interface more user-friendly and compatible will all kinds of skins.
• Clicking the username will now create a new tab, in this tab you can quickly talk to the user in a private session, without having to type the PM command within the shoutbox anymore, and the ability to easily manage several chat sessions at once.
• Every user can now create their own custom commands to quickly translate into something else, for instance, you could have:
  
  /slap Username
  Turn into:
  /me slaps username
  
  You are not limited the amount of commands you can enter!
• Opposed to the /ignore and /unignore commands, the user now has an optional interface to manage ignored users, quickly adding, managing and checking their ignored users settings.
• Users can now filter certain material from the shoutbox:
  
  BBCode
  Private Messages
  '/me' commands
  
• You now have the option to change the shoutbox title displayed on the shoutbox, opposed to just 'Shoutbox'.
• You can now control the number of shouts displayed within the shoutbox.
• If you want to show the shoutbox everywhere, you can turn the setting 'Global Page Deployment' on and place the shoutbox template code in a global template, such as 'navbar'.
• You now have control over how fast AJAX will re-fetch data from the shoutbox, allowing some control over load issues.
• In the archive, you may now change how many top shouters are shown.
• You can now set shouts to automatically be removed from the shoutbox after X seconds.
• The archive can now be set to be viewable by usergroups of your choice, allowing the archive to act as an admin tool for history if desired.
• You can set so that every X posts a user makes, the shoutbox will make a shout publically to tell everyone, an example would be setting this to 100, and every time a user hits that interval (100, 200, 300, etc..) a shout will be made.
• Admins can now execute the command /banlist, to quickly show which users have been banned within the shoutbox.

• /pm username; message - Allows you to private message any user in the shoutbox.
• Flood Control - Actively stop users from flooding the shoutbox by setting time restraints between shouts.
• Protected Usergroups - Stop staff using the ban feature on specific usergroups.
• Banned Usergroups - All users in these usergroups will be banned from the shoutbox.
• Box UG Hidden - Hide the shoutbox from specific usergroups completely.
• Text Size Switch - Easily change between default or small text globally across the shoutbox.
• Smilies Menu - Actively pull smilies from the database to easily apply them to shouts.
• Control Smilies - Choose how many random smilies you want displaying at any one time.
• Real Time Control - Double click your shouts (or others if staff) to quickly edit or delete messages.
• Shoutbox Archive - The archive will list all shouts currently contained in the database, and some statistics related.
• Shout ordering - Reverse the order shouts are displayed in.
